Thoughts are powerful but it’s one subject that is not usually thought in school, hence a lot of people do not how much effect it has in life.
Thoughts comes alive at every signal you give and can determine the events that follow.
I have imagined some things happening to me and it eventually did days, weeks, months or years later.
What does it really take to think positive?
It takes the same energy but circumstances in life and everyday occurrences have a way of suggesting wrong thoughts in your mind if you don’t guard it.
I’m more of an imaginary person. I love to imagine possibilities but sometimes, I could drift into negative thoughts which I often have to correct immediately because it takes 60 seconds for your thoughts to make or mar you depending on which patterns it follows.

So, you have been hurt in the past by an ex or friend?
Your parents have made life difficult for you?
Or life hasn’t been so pleasant and this has made you to develop wrong thoughts about your condition?
It is easy for you to decide to dwell on how marriages are not working or how men/women are wicked. The issue is that as you think and meditate on these thoughts, it begins to expand and affect the events that follows.
Wrong thoughts can keep bringing negative experiences around you.
No one has said that bad things won’t happen to good people sometimes but your response is what matters.
Look at this verse:
Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.- Philippians 4:8 (MSG)
Think about things that are authentic not just true by popular opinion.
Think about the best that you want not based on the worst that has happened to you.
Think about beautiful experiences coming you way not bad experiences that you don’t want.
Think about gracious thing happening to you, not cursing your ex because something bad has happened.
Meditate on what you want. Focus on it so much with passion and energy. Avoid blaming everyone but you.
Whatsoever you seek shall be open unto you, but you have to seek it with all your heart, mind and soul.
You want to heal from that past hurts, seek for the healing, don’t just focus on the effects of the pain.
You want to attract a quality partner? Imagine yourself meeting one, laughing, handling disagreements well and building wholesome relationships.
Does this mean bad things should happen to you? No, you may not be able to control all the happenings but your attitude can change everything when you change your focus.
Pain refines you, it doesn’t leave you the same.
